Description

Swirler (circulation ring) 260A, suitable for HP130-260 Ajan systems^® and it is intended for mechanized plasma cutting of metal. Swirler SW3 is designed to cut low carbon steel up to 38 mm thick at a current of 260 Amps.

Its task is to control and swirl the plasma-forming gas around the electrode and direct it further into the nozzle. Clogged swirl channels are the reason for the shorter service life of the electrode. A damaged swirler can cause poor cutting quality.

The service life of the swirler depends on the intensity of operation; it changes much less frequently than the main consumables of the plasma torch (electrode and nozzle).
