Description
Cathode (electrode) for P80 plasmatron fits Panasonic® plasma torches, Svarogtm, as well as most similar plasmatrons from other manufacturers. Used for manual plasma cutting of metal up to 23 mm thick at currents up to 80 Amp.
The electrode is manufactured using technologies that significantly increase its reliability and durability. The copper body of the electrode has an insert made of refractory hafnium, which wears out during ignitions and cuts into the metal. The main function is gas ionization and the formation of a plasma jet under the influence of electromagnetic forces. The cathode is used in a wide range under standard work conditions with good accessibility to the cutting site.
This consumable material is most susceptible to wear during cutting, like the nozzle, so it is recommended to change it in tandem with the nozzle corresponding to the cutting current.
