D30×5 mm protective glass is designed for fiber and solid-state laser machines with a power of up to 6 kW. Made in Ø30×5 mm size, it is compatible with a wide range of laser heads, including Raytools® (BS04K), BODOR® (GN2A, GN3A, GNT6), WSX® (NC30A, NC30C, NC30E), SUP (CQWY), Precitec®, Trumpf®, Hans®, OSPRI® and other models using this protective glass format (lenses).

The glass is a high-precision plane-parallel window that is installed in front of the focusing lens and performs a protective function, preventing dirt and splashes from metal from entering the optical path. Maintains stable operation at a wavelength of 1064 nm, which is optimal for most industrial fiber lasers.

Protective glass care: simple rules that will save a lot of money

Protective glass in a — laser head is not just a consumable. It is the first and most important barrier to protect the optics and focusing system from contamination, reflections, overheating and damage. Regular and proper replacement of this small element significantly reduces the risk of serious breakdowns and loss of cutting quality.

Basic care tips:

• Only lint-free wipes and isopropyl alcohol. When cleaning, use materials specifically designed for optics. Conventional wipes can leave villi and microdamage.
• Do not touch the glass with your hands. Even a «neat» touch leaves fat, which can reduce light transmission and lead to overheating.
• Keep spare glasses individually packaged. Dustproof boxes prevent micro-scratches and dust from appearing on the surface.
