Protective screen 2.4 mm 45-55A compatible and suitable for ESAB® plasma cutting systems with PT-36 plasma torch and designed for mechanized plasma cutting on CNC machines. The protective shield 0558007624 has a hole diameter of 2.4 mm and is designed for cutting metal at currents of 45-55A amperes.
The screen protects the nozzle from double arc during burning and accidental contact with the metal sheet. It also provides a supply of protective secondary gas at the nozzle outlet and determines the direction of the plasma arc. The design of the protective screen is designed in such a way that it allows it to withstand elevated temperatures from the plasma arc without structural changes and deformations.
The screen is consumed less often than the main consumables (electrode and nozzle), and also changes less often.
