Description

ZnSe D12 F50.8 focusing lens for CO2 laser machine (engraver) designed to concentrate the laser beam to the minimum point. The lens has a diameter of 12 mm, both surfaces are coated with an antireflective coating at a wavelength of 10.6 microns. The lens is mid-focus and has a focal length of 50.8 mm (2″). It is universal for cutting average thicknesses and engraving surfaces to obtain the optimal pattern with good detail.

The lens is made in a traditional – concavely convex shape. The lens coating is zinc selenide (ZnSe), well suited for laser cutting work, resistant to high temperatures and abrasion, has high optical characteristics, transmissivity and durable coating. The greater the thickness of the material to be cut, the greater the focal length should be, this is necessary to maintain a stable, even cut. To ensure high quality operation of the ZnSe D12 F50.8 focusing lens, it is necessary to monitor the perpendicular direction of the incoming beam from the laser head, which is carried out by fine-tuning the laser mirrors.
